ASHP Service Pro is an offline-first tool for heating engineers. Every service record, signature, company profile and setting you create is stored only in your device's local storage. The only information we ever receive is the one-time activation registration described below. We run no analytics and no advertising.
One-time activation registration. When you first use the app you are asked for your name, company, email address and (optionally) phone number. This is submitted once, over an encrypted connection, to our form provider (Netlify) and is used to:
We do not sell this information, share it with third parties for marketing, or use it for advertising. To have your registration details deleted, email paul@puzzlepie.co.uk and we will remove them.
Beyond that: no usage data, no analytics, no identifiers and no diagnostics are collected. The app's only other network activity is loading the app itself from our hosting provider (Netlify).
Records you complete (client details, site addresses, appliance details, inspection results and signatures) are saved in your device's local browser/app storage so they are available offline. This data:
When you record customer names, addresses and signatures for your business, you act as the data controller for that information. Handle it in line with your own privacy obligations. The app helps by keeping all data on your own device rather than in a third-party cloud.
The app requests no device permissions. Sharing a PDF uses your device's standard share sheet, which you control.
ASHP Service Pro is a professional tool intended for working heating engineers and is not directed at children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new effective date.
